Good news - Sparkplug is open for business!
April 2 UPDATE: Team Sparkplug is going to do whatever it takes to get you your coffee! We are taking all the recommended precautions - and more - to keep our team and your coffee deliveries safe and timely.
I know this is a stressful time for many of us. And the thought of running out of coffee only adds to our stress levels. But no need to panic! We are in good shape to keep delivering fresh roasted coffee to your door, wherever that may be. And free delivery, of course, anywhere in Canada.
As always, we mostly send via Canada Post and they are also taking extra precautions in picking up, sorting and delivering your parcels. The Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization continue to state that there is a very low risk regarding mailed items.
If you’re in Toronto, we’ve expanded our local delivery area. Right now, Canada Post is a bit slower than usual but is still very reliable. But there’s no traffic and it doesn’t make sense for us to deliver to Canada Post so they can send it to MIssissauga for sorting then send it back downtown where it started. Especially when this is taking a few days instead of their usual 1 or 2 day delivery standard.
So… our local delivery area has expanded. We may deliver directly to you if there are a cluster of customers in your neighbourhood or if you’re close to our Corktown HQ. (That’s you, Leslieville and Riverside!)
If we deliver, we’ll leave with your concierge or place it near your door or in your mailbox (if it fits). We’ll also ring your doorbell or try and notify you when we’re making the drop-off so you can retrieve before your local hobos do. ;-)
