Your chance to try coffee from the Congo

Drinking our medium roasted Mama Congo makes me think of black cherry, dark chocolate and sweet dried plums. With a rich, full body and smoothness, this spectacular coffee is very different from a typical East African bean.

Hari Balaraman:

Sparkplug Coffee Lover

Hari Balaraman is one of Sparkplug Coffee's first customers and he lives close to Sparkplug coffee HQ in Toronto so his coffee is delivered on foot instead of via Canada Post. He invited me to stop in to sample a cup of kopi luwak (aka civet coffee or cat poop coffee) that he'd purchased in his travels. I took the opportunity to quiz him about his coffee habits and other passions.

Sumatra SS

Sumatra SS - a new coffee for spring

Why did we call it Sumatra SS? Because it's Super Special!

We've taken a top grade, triple-picked bean from Sumatra. Roasted medium-dark, you'll find the Sumatra SS has an earthy, slightly spicy taste that is surprisingly smooth and rich.

How Fuss Hair Studio Impresses Their Customers

“Can I get you a coffee or tea?”

Like many salons, customers at Fuss Hair Studio in Toronto’s Leslieville are offered a drink when they arrive at the salon. By improving the quality of their coffee, Fuss has found that their fussy customers have noticed.

Of course, people come to Fuss for the great cuts and colour treatments.  And a big part of why they return is because of the entire customer experience. It’s the chic environment, amazing scalp massage, friendly people, cool music - and the delicious Fuss Studio blend coffee from Sparkplug Coffee.

Large 900g

The Two Pounder is now Large and is still 900 grams of coffee. You should get 100 or more cups of coffee out of it, depending how you brew. What more can we say? A super option if you drink a couple cups a day.
