As I write this, here in Turonno we’re in the midst of another bout of winter weather. It seems winter just doesn’t want to go away. Daylight Savings Time has started, it's officially spring, but it sure doesn't feel like it!
One thing that gets me through more trudging, slipping and shovelling is coffee. And we have a new seasonal coffee to brighten your days.
Spring Break is a clean, rich, bittersweet blend of coffees from Guatemala and Nicaragua.
A few weeks ago, we had a fun session tasting 8 new beans from around the world with coffee lovers Michele and Josie. These two have very different tastes. Michele's drink of choice is a cappuccino while Josie loves a simple, beautifully made filter coffee. Of the 8 beans we tried, there were 2 beans that made the top 3 list for all of us. A lovely Nicaraguan and a coffee from Guatemala.
Given that everyone loved those 2 beans, it was a no-brainer to put them together to create Spring Break, our new seasonal and limited edition coffee.
