Season Opener: fresh for spring...

As you may know, most of our coffees are blends. This time, to switch things up, we have a single origin* coffee made of wonderful beans from Brazil.

To create Season Opener, we selected beans from a family-owned coffee farm a couple hours north of Sao Paulo, Brazil. This is a mountainous area of Brazil with volcanic soil and ideal coffee growing conditions. The coffee estate has been cultivated by this family for over 100 years and is renowned for its premium coffees.

We roast these beans on the darker side of medium to make a rich, full-bodied coffee with bold flavor and hints of currants and cinnamon. Season Opener makes a spectacular espresso - with its hints of black currant you could say it creates crema de cassis.  😉

As with all our feature coffees, Season Opener is here just for a short time. Try it while it's available - I'm confident it'll be a hit!

* Single origin is a coffee term meaning the beans are taken from one country or small geographic area rather than blending beans from several different places.
