When I started thinking about putting playlists together for Sparkplug Coffee, one of the first people I thought of to curate some tunes was DJ Skip.
We were housemates a bunch of years back which is how we became friends. Skip introduced me to some great music and I introduced him to better coffee and foods from other continents.
Of course, our house was always full of music. And sometimes full of musicians as Skip would offer a floor and sofa to sleep a 13-piece ska band for a night or two when they were passing through Toronto.
